On a Friday night or during the weekend I love to pamper myself and try new homemade goodies. Today I will be showing you all how to make a moisturising and anti ageing face mask. This face mask is beneficial in so many ways, for both younger and older women.
– 1/4 Lemon
Lemon cleanses and lightens the skin tone, it can be applied to specific darker areas of the skin to even out the skin tone.
– Plain Yoghurt
Secret to a glowing complexion! It has anti inflammatory properties, smoothes rough skin, moisturises and also facilitates in skin renewal. It can also tighten pores, clear acne and give you a wrinkle free face.
Tip: If you are short on time you can also use this on its own, then apply face oil after washing it off.
Blessing from Mother Nature! Honey is used as it helps with anti ageing, acne, large pores as well as a dull complexion. It is has natural antibacterial properties which fight acne, it is packed with antioxidants which slow down the ageing process. It moisturises and unclogs pores for a healthy radiant glow.
Tip : Use a thin layer of honey on your face for 30 mins and rinse with warm water for an instant moisture and completion boost.
– Vitamin E Capsules
Holy Grail ! These are great for both applying to the face and taking on a daily basis. It is an excellent moisturiser, contains antioxidants to prevent ageing and repairs the skin.
Tip: Use Vitamin E oil on extensive dry patches on the skin, on the end of brittle dry hair. It can be taken in capsule form to help skin, hair and nails.
– Take 2 large tablespoons of plain yoghurt and place into a bowl
– Squeeze in 1/4 of a lemon and mix together
– Add 2 tablespoons of honey and continue mixing
– Cut 2 Vitamin E capsules and squeeze out the oil into the bowl OR make a cut in the middle and leave the capsule in the bowl.
– Leave on the face for 10-15 mins then wash off with warm water.
