When winter begins it’s almost impossible to brave the cold without a huge scarf & thick coat. I feel that sometimes your effort on your entire outfit becomes pointless when it’s all covered up, that’s why I think rocking a coat/cardi open is the best way forward, for me personally. Coats have become more of a statement piece for winter, and if you don’t want to splurge on 10 different coats then wearing thick cardis is the way forward.
Long cardigans look great with a lot of different outfits, here I’ll be showing you this beauty which is a cross between a coat, cardigan & blazer. I love the design with black & white I think it’s so versatile and can be worn with a number of outfits. I shall be doing another outfit idea with this too !
The easiest way to wear this is with all black, not only is it simple but it looks good, always ! Here I wore a thick black jumper & black jeans, I feel that the hat and heeled boots pull the look together and make it seem like you made that much more effort. Clearly you all can see how much I’m obsessing over my black hat, I love it. It’s great for bad hair days, when it’s raining & as a statement piece, you just can’t go wrong.
These boots are 4.5 inches, and have a hidden platform. They’re are super comfy, a lot better than what I expected them to be. This is my opinion as a person who wears heels a lot, so if you don’t or never have I think it’s better to start with smaller ones ! I’ve been hunting for the perfect pair of heeled suede boots and I finally came across these. I also think these are inexpensive for what they actually are, because similar boots range to about £100 at a high street store, so these were a huge bargain. Very happy Nidha !
On this day I went to watch the Hunger Games, the movie was ooookay, it didn’t give me the same feeling as Part 1 of Deathly Hallows, that feeling of ‘OMG I CAN’T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE’. Truthfully I enjoyed it, but the ending was meh ! Still go and watch it guys, you may love it ! The movie did move me a little *no spoilers*.
Anyway is it just me that always takes a picture yearly with the Canary Wharf Christmas trees, eventhough they’re the same EVERY year ! LOL
