Cosy in Wool

Oversized wooly jumpers are a staple piece in my winter wardrobe. A light weight leather jacket is a must have for everyone, it gives just the right amount of warmth and makes me feel like a Rock Chick. This is a very casual, toned down outfit, with my new booties and a slouchy backpack.

Bare faced with a cosy big wooly jumper just screams comfort. First of all I need to tell you all to not buy these boots. I prefer suede boots to leather because of this problem, I hate it when the material bends and makes the boots look old and worn out. Sticking to my suede ones! See the issue is, I really like the style, it has a very nice zip detail at the back, so if you feel this is for you then by all means go for it, but the material just didn’t work for me. I knew it wouldn’t be great when I got it delivered, but I thought I’d give them a go.

As I said earlier, the leather jacket is a timeless item in your wardrobe, it will never get old. Investing in a good leather jacket is important if you want it for a long time, pay careful attention to the type of leather it is made from, or it will wear away & look old ! Second, make sure it fits well & that you like the style of it. I love mine as it has buttons on the sleeves to tighten the sleeve, flaps?! zips & pockets!

Backpacks make me feel like an American college student, but I’ve started to realise how useful this guy is at holding a heap load of items. I think I may ditch the handbags and invest in a few more of these !
