I wore this burnt orange cotton top, it is lightweight and easy to style yet looks great. I love the sleeves of this and the neckline! I paired it with striped black and white trousers. Trousers like this are my go to in warm weather because they feel like PJs but still look great! This has to be one of the most comfortable outfits I wore on holiday.
I paired this with my metallic gold bag and sandals; everyone has these sandals because they are so comfortable! I usually never wear hoops and these were given to me as a joke because of how huge they are but I have made use of them after a year. I think they look amazing with the wider neckline. I wear things that are out of my comfort zone on holiday just for the fun of it.
I am in love with pleated skirts I have bought them in so many colours. I mainly wore skirts on holiday because they look effortless and are so comfortable. I think they are perfect for the hot weather, especially if you’re going on a beach holiday! It was so easy for me to change into my swimsuit.
I kept my makeup looks simple on holiday because I was always in the pool or at the beach! However, I used highlighter religiously and I bought the Becca x Chrissy palette which I will be reviewing soon. I also carried around a hat which came in very handy, the only downside to it was the flat hair!
I really love the look of reflective glasses and I absolutely love this pair that I got from Accessorize. I want to invest in more round framed glasses, I have my eyes on the classic rayban style for a while now!
I don’t think wearing a choker in the hot weather was one of my smartest ideas but it looks great with this outfit SO OH WELL. I also love the sleeves of this top that I purchased from Mango; they add something interesting to an otherwise simple outfit. I actually used my straightener to iron this top on holiday! I mainly had frizzy messy hair on holiday apart from this day because I was a mermaid all holiday, constantly in the water. I guess it has its perks because my skin is glowing after all that salt water!
Hey, everyone, I visited Dim T which is an oriental restaurant which has an amazing view of Tower Bridge with an outdoor seating area which is perfect for summer.
I had a ‘Green Curry’ rather than getting ‘Singapore Noodles’ that I always get when I visit Oriental restaurants. I did enjoy it because it was spicy, however, the downside to this restaurant is that it isn’t halal and if you’re not a fan of seafood I would not recommend it. The best thing about this place is the views! The service was so bad, we stood around for 5 minutes at the door with everyone working there staring at us and doing nothing. There was so many available staff and the restaurant was not very busy, they only had one person serving everyone. The atmosphere is good when you’re sitting outside appreciating the views on a hot day. Overall, I would not visit this place again because the best thing it has to offer is the view, the food is good but nothing special. I think there are many more places in London with the same view and much better service!
Anyway, onto my outfit. I have seen the fishnet tights trend and I really wanted to try it out. I wore this silk shirt that is very comfortable in khaki, I have purchased so many khaki clothes lately. I love the look of blue jeans and black heels and I think the fishnet tights really complimented them. I absolutely love the style of these heels!
I have recently been obsessing over this gold bag, it looks great with almost everything girly in my wardrobe. It is a simple envelope clutch but it fits my huge slab of a phone and all my essentials.
River Island jeans are my absolute favourite, if you don’t have long legs then you know the struggle of finding the perfect jeans that aren’t long and also fit around the waist. I love that these are the perfect length and I don’t need to go out of my way to find petite sizes in their stores. You guys NEED to go and try some in store if you haven’t already. The quality is also amazing and I love that they don’t fade as you wash them.
